Life between lives
Past lives

Nearly everyone has heard of past lives at some point in their life. The concept suggest that we would have lived on earth before our present lifetime, in another body and a different life story. One premise is that we would come on Earth to evolve, and learn specific things\lessons.

Life between lives

This concept is not as well-known as past lives. However, it complements it in the sense that when we leave this world, our soul goes "somewhere". There is a "time period" between our incarnations on Earth, a space called "Bardo" by the tibetan people, and what Dr. Michael Newton calls Life Between Lives.

What is there to explore "in between lives"?

This is THE question, isn't it?  Even though the experience slightly differs from one individual to another, a pattern seems to exist. In his book "Journey of Souls", Michael Newton was the first hypnotherapist to deliver in details his clients' experiences after having done around 7000 regressions over more than 30 years.

Dr. Newton's story is very interesting because he himself was a traditional hypnotherapist who didn't believe in past lives or had any beliefs about life after death. It was the consistent spontaneous regressions of his clients into past lives that opened him to another reality.

To his great surprise, no matter the religious background of his clients, he heard them talk about "soul groups", their spiritual guides, even about a place where people go to choose their body, their parents, and even certain events that will happen in their life to learn specific things\lessons, what many clients called their "purpose" on Earth. And most amazingly, every client reported the in-between lives to be a place characterized by peace, joy, order, love, compassion and non-judgment.

Besides reporting a feeling of love coming from this place, many clients also report the feeling of "coming back home". As if the in-between lives space is where we come from, and where our true identity lies. Our lives on Earth would only be an expression of our soul, a "suit" they agreed to wear in order to learn certain things.

Another common experience reported by most clients is losing the fear of dying. Clients know, from their own experience, that they are an immortal soul and that death is only an experience that basically brings them back home. And this, by itself, often profoundly changes the way of living and seeing the world of many clients.

In a nutshell, The Life Between Lives experience is an intense sacred journey that enables clients to find some answers to the most fundamental existential questions "Who am I", "Where do I come from?", and "Why am I here?".

Life Between Lives and NDE

Another very interesting point worth mentioning is that the Life Between Lives experience seems to correlate in many aspects with the near death experiences (NDE) reported by people who died and came back to life. Many clients report seeing a light, being met by loved ones, and feeling unconditional love from wise beings.
